Softball Recap: Bethany Wolves vs. Ledford Panthers

After flying high against Oak Ridge Military Academy last Friday, Bethany came back down to earth. The Bethany Wolves fell 7-2 to the Ledford Panthers on Monday.

Bethany saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayla Dick, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

On Ledford's side, Leah Leonard spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on six hits and racked up seven Ks. Leonard has been consistent recently: she hasn't pitched less than six innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
