Baseball Game Preview: Gettysburg Warriors vs. Spring Grove Rockets

The Gettysburg Warriors will square off against the Spring Grove Rockets at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Gettysburg 3.6, Spring Grove 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Gettysburg is headed into Monday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Saturday. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Bishop McDevitt.

Meanwhile, Spring Grove got themselves on the board against Central York on Friday, but Central York never followed suit. They walked away with a 3-0 victory over the Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

The team relied heavily on Cooper Frey, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.

Gettysburg's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Spring Grove, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
