Volleyball Recap: Ringgold Comes Up Short

Ringgold suffered their biggest loss since October 26, 2024 on Saturday. They came up short against the North Cobb Christian Eagles, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Ringgold couldn't get the W, but boy did they fight for it: two sets took extra rallies. The final score came out to 27-25, 26-24, 25-18.

Despite the loss, Ringgold still got an impressive performance from Kinsley Killingsworth, who had 15 digs.

Ringgold's defeat dropped their record down to 30-11. As for North Cobb Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-15.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Ringgold will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Richmond County Technical Career Magnet at 5:00 p.m. As for North Cobb Christian, they will take on King's Ridge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
