Football Recap: Ketchum Takes a Loss

Ketchum and Talihina squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Ketchum had to settle for second. They were dealt a 51-8 loss at the hands of the Golden Tigers. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Landen Griffith continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Talihina, rushing for 159 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 135 yards and three TDs. Griffith is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last nine games he's played. Gavin Brown was another key player, rushing for 142 yards and one score while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Ketchum has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Talihina, the win keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Ketchum does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Talihina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Healdton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
