Volleyball Game Preview: Freedom Christian Academy Patriots vs. Village Christian Academy Knights

The Freedom Christian Academy Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Village Christian Academy Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Freedom Christian Academy will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Fayetteville Christian, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Patriots put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 19, 2023, but that streak is no more.

The victory didn't come easy: Fayetteville Christian scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-19, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Village Christian Academy came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Eagles 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-9.

Freedom Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Village Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 18-3.
