Basketball Recap: Monrovia Bulldogs vs. Indianapolis Lutheran Saints

Monrovia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a 62-46 bruising from the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Despite the loss, Monrovia still got an impressive performance from Hayden Mccloud, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Hudson McCloud, who on his way to 10 points.

Monrovia's loss dropped their record down to 6-15. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monrovia will head out to challenge Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they will venture away from home to take on Purdue Polytechnic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Purdue Polytechnic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
