Football Recap: Robertsdale's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday + How To Watch

Robertsdale needed a changed in momentum after dropping three straight games and they got it from Cub Jones. The Golden Bears secured a 22-18 W over the Orange Beach Makos on Thursday thanks in part to Jones, who rushed for 77 yards and one TD, and also threw for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 54 yards.

The victory got Robertsdale back to even at 3-3. As for Orange Beach, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Robertsdale will face off against Baker at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. As for Orange Beach, they will square off against Escambia County at 7:00 p.m. on the 3rd. The Makos will be up against the Blue Devils' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
