Basketball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Wilber-Clatonia

If Syracuse wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wilber-Clatonia, they should've done a better job of containing Jameson Conway. The Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines walked away with a 45-38 victory over the Syracuse Rockets on Tuesday thanks in part to Conway, who went 8 of 16 on his way to 23 points and seven rebounds. Those 23 points gave him a new career-high.

Wilber-Clatonia's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points per game. As for Syracuse, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

Wilber-Clatonia will host Johnson County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Syracuse, they will face off against Louisville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
