Basketball Game Preview: Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs vs. Calvary Baptist

The Lehigh Christian Academy Mustangs will head out to face off against Calvary Baptist at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lehigh Christian Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.

If Lehigh Christian Academy beats Calvary Baptist with 60 points on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. Lehigh Christian Academy came out on top against Quakertown Christian by a score of 60-47 on Tuesday. While the Mustangs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Jacob Lewis was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Lehigh Christian Academy's points.

Meanwhile, Calvary Baptist was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap back in December of 2024 as they fell 56-52 to Martin Luther. Calvary Baptist has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Calvary Baptist now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lehigh Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.

Lehigh Christian Academy strolled past Calvary Baptist when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a score of 70-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lehigh Christian Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
