Volleyball Recap: Raeleigh Bower Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Spencerville + How To Watch

Arlington proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Spencerville Bearcats 3-2. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bearcats, too.

Arlington wouldn't go down easily and took Spencerville into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-10, 15-25, 24-26, 27-25, 15-11.

Arlington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Raeleigh Bower, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most digs Bower has posted over her last six matchups.

Bower wasn't the only good server: Arlington was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. The Red Devils are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Arlington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-4. As for Spencerville, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arlington will venture away from home to face off against Continental at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Spencerville, they will head out to challenge Van Wert at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
