Bearden came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 goals), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the William Blount Governors get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Bearden's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Bearden pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. As for William Blount, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bearden will face off against Farragut at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Farragut's last five matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for William Blount, they will take on Eagleton College & Career Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
