Volleyball Recap: Minerva Beats Alliance for Their Third Straight Win

Minerva had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Alliance Aviators with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on September 4th.

Minerva walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-18.

Minerva now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Alliance, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-11.

Coming up, Minerva will head out to challenge Carrollton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alliance, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Chaney on the 24th.
