Sheridan is 9-1 against Morgan since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sheridan Generals are taking a road trip to take on the Morgan Raiders at 7:15 p.m. Sheridan is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Sheridan lost to John Glenn at home by a 68-52 margin. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 340th, while the Little Muskies are ranked 23rd).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Morgan). They strolled past Crooksville with points to spare last Friday, taking the game 65-49. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Raiders with their most commanding win of the season.

Sheridan better focus on containing Tavian Myers and Luke Coleman as the pair were huge in Morgan's win. Myers dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 boards, while Coleman dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Myers continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylee Shannon, who posted eight points.

Morgan moved to 3-6 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Sheridan, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Sheridan took their win against Morgan when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a conclusive 67-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sheridan since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
