After having lost a blowout in their previous game against University, Ridgeline was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They skirted past the Mead Panthers 13-11. The high-scoring effort was just what the Falcons needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.
Quincy Coder was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Lilley Triplett, who went 3-for-5 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
Ridgeline has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Mead, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ridgeline will square off against rival Cheney at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mead is set to take on their familiar foe University at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
