Volleyball Recap: Edison Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Edison had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bear Creek Bruins. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Edison walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-27, 25-11, 25-21.

Vince Tanega paced Edison's offense, picking up 26 kills. Tanega got some help from Jose Rios and his 47 assists. Tanega was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.

Edison's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-5. As for Bear Creek, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

Edison has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Sierra on the 11th. As for Bear Creek, they will square off against Chavez at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
