The Central Woodstock Falcons will take on the Page County Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Woodstock is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Central Woodstock came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Strasburg, falling 13-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Central Woodstock saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Bushong, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, Page County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Stuarts Draft. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one run.

Central Woodstock's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 8-5. As for Page County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.

Everything went Central Woodstock's way against Page County in their previous meeting on April 2nd, as Central Woodstock made off with a 10-1 win. Will the Falcons repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
