Newington has gone 8-2 against New Britain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Nor'easters will venture away from home to challenge the Golden Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m.

Newington is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering RHAM just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Monday. Neither they nor the Raptors could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 7-7 draw.

While New Britain didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-11), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They never let Conard get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Monday. Considering the Golden Hurricanes' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

New Britain's win bumped their record up to 8-4. Newington's tie makes their record 3-4-1 this season.

Newington couldn't quite get it done against New Britain in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 7-3. Can the Nor'easters avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
