Basketball Recap: Browning Victorious

Browning posted their closest win since January 4th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Fergus Golden Eagles 48-46. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The win got Browning back to even at 2-2. As for Fergus, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-2 record.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, Browning and Havre will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Fergus, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lockwood at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. The Golden Eagles will be up against the LIONS' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
