Skagway hadn't done well against Petersburg recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Panthers: when they faced off against the Vikings back in October, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

The win made it two in a row for Skagway and bumps their season record up to 2-6. As for Petersburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.

Skagway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Wrangell on the 7th. As for Petersburg, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Craig on the 7th.
