San Simon had won three straight games and Bryleigh Sloan did her part to make it four on Wednesday. The San Simon Longhorns put the hurt on the Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels with a sharp 37-16 victory thanks to Sloan, who went 6-for-12 on her way to 12 points and three steals. She has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last 18 times she's played.

Alexa Rios was another key player, putting up seven points and five boards. Those five rebounds gave her a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind had strong showings from Isabella Vega, who posted eight points, and Alicia Sanchez, who had six points in addition to eight boards and four blocks. Sarah Thomack also deserves some recognition as she posted her first blocks of the season.

San Simon pushed their record up to 16-12 with the win, which was their third straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.7 points. As for Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-16.

San Simon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 28-24 victory against The Gregory School on the 6th. Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
