Football Game Preview: Upperman Bees vs. Signal Mountain Eagles + Official Tickets

Upperman has gone a perfect 3-0 against Signal Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bees will welcome the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Upperman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 31 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Signal Mountain likes a good challenge.

On Thursday, Upperman got the win against Macon County by a conclusive 41-17. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Bees' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Tigers are ranked 103rd).

Bronzdon Chaffin continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 220 yards and four scores while picking up 9.6 yards per carry. Those 220 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

The home team had won the previous four meetings between Signal Mountain and Hixson, and Hixson kept the tradition alive. The Eagles fell 19-9 to the Wildcats on Thursday. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wildcats 6-0 in the first quarter.

Upperman's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Signal Mountain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Upperman against Signal Mountain in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 victory. Will the Bees repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
