The Weeping Water Indians won the last time they faced the Omaha Christian Academy Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Weeping Water blew past Omaha Christian Academy 54-17 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Weeping Water.
Weeping Water's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riggs Wilson, who scored 18 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Gus Mcgill was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Weeping Water's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Omaha Christian Academy, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-3.
Weeping Water will face off against Louisville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Omaha Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cedar Bluffs.
