Basketball Recap: Aspire Ollin Takes a Loss

Aspire Ollin lost against Downtown Magnets last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Aspire Ollin Jaguars took a blow against the Downtown Magnets Suns, falling 81-13. The matchup marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Justin Huang continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Downtown Magnets, going 12 for 18 on his way to 27 points and three steals. Huang is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Patrick Lei was another key player, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards.

Aspire Ollin has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for Downtown Magnets, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.
