Recap: Dyersburg Trojans vs. Obion County Rebels
The Dyersburg Trojans entered their tilt with the Obion County Rebels with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Dyersburg managed a 46-40 victory over Obion County on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Dyersburg, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Leading Dyersburg to victory were Chelby Jordan and Joya Crawford. Jordan scored ten points along with three steals, while Crawford scored 14 points along with seven rebounds. The match was Crawford's third in a row with at least ten points. Aerie Quinn was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Dyersburg's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Obion County, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Coincidentally, Dyersburg and Obion County will both be playing Crockett County the next time they take the court. Dyersburg will host Crockett County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Obion County will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
