Volleyball Recap: Springfield Takes a Loss

Springfield managed to slip by Murray County Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers came up short against the Rebels on Friday, falling 3-0. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-21, 25-17.

Kendall Krueger paced Springfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Krueger got some help from Sophie Mude and her 16 assists. Delayna Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Springfield's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Murray County Central, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Springfield has already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Yellow Medicine East on the 4th. Murray County Central has also already played their next matchup (against Central Minnesota Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
