Pinckney moved up to 164 from 230 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Kensington Lakes - West. The Pirates were able to make the jump by beating Walled Lake Central 21-7.

Milford took down Kettering 49-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Tyler Johnson was the best wideout in the league this week as Howell bested Lakeland. Johnson tallied four receptions for 63 yards. John Brennan helped Howell's passing attack out by catching one ball for 38 yards.

Tyler Schingeck was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 22 carries, he ran for 100 yards as Pinckney bested the Eagles. Logan Chapman also contributed to the rushing game with 65 yards on the ground.

6-foot-2 quarterback Buck West of Jakob Gailitis' team is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1295. He has also thrown 10 touchdowns. On the ground, Howell's Vincent Patritto has rushed for 567 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Bryan Ridley. The Hartland star has 18 catches for 364 yards.

The Pirates made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,722 from 6,215. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 21-7 victory over the Vikings last week.
