Branson won the last time they faced Hillcrest and things went their way on Sunday too. The Pirates walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pirates.

Joree McBride paced Branson's offense, picking up five kills. McBride got some help from Erinn Swofford and her 21 assists. Olivia Howard controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Branson's win bumped their record up to 9-6-2. As for Hillcrest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-1 record this season.

Branson has already played their next game, a 1-1 draw against Camdenton on the 14th. As for Hillcrest, they will square off against Waynesville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
