Gibson Southern added to the longest winning streak in Pocket this week by beating Pike Central, 58-15. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
The Chargers lost to Gibson Southern 58-15 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kegan Aldridge was a bright spot for Pike Central, as he ran for 75 yards in the defeat.
CONNOR CRAIG was a force in the backfield as Southridge defeated Heritage Hills.
Nick Sellers threw for 211 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 11-11 with 0 interceptions.
CRAIG provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Raiders bested the Patriots.
Griffin Scheller was the best receiver in the league this week as Nick Hart's team topped Dustin Powell's team. Scheller racked up 2 receptions for 65 yards. Brooks Martin helped Gibson Southern's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 50 yards.
The Titans' Sellers and Scheller have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-11 quarterback Sellers has thrown for 1,493 yards this season, while Scheller has 14 catches for 474 yards. Tell City's Elliott Brown leads the league in rushing yards with 1,048.
One of Pocket's premier quarterbacks will go head-to-head with its top pass rusher when Gibson Southern and the Marksmen face off next week.
The Titans are currently in first, while Tell City is in third.
The Chargers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,333 from 12,499. The improvement was the result of a 58-15 victory over Pike Central last week.
