Soccer Recap: Blair Takes a Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Blair couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 5-1 to the Gretna East Griffins on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for Blair in their meetings with Gretna East: they've now lost three in a row.

Blair's goal came courtesy of Laynie Brown, who's now up to 13 this season.

Blair's defeat dropped their record down to 16-3. As for Gretna East, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 19-0.

Blair does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gretna East, they will square off against Pius X at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Pius X will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Gretna East surely won't give up without a fight.
