While Norwalk's win against La Mirada wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Lancers skirted past the Matadores 3-2. The Lancers haven't had any issues with the Matadores recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Norwalk had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 18-25, 25-19, 25-19, 15-4.

Norwalk's win bumped their record up to 18-10. As for La Mirada, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Norwalk will face off against rival Dominguez at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, La Mirada is set to take on their familiar foe Lynwood at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
