Basketball Recap: Blackford Takes a Loss

Blackford played a tough game on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Oak Hill Golden Eagles and fell 52-11. The Bruins were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.

Oak Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brianna Dailey led the charge by going 8 for 9 on her way to 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Liz Godfrey, who posted 13 points and seven steals.

Blackford dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Oak Hill, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-1.

Blackford has already played their next contest (against Anderson Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Oak Hill has already played their next matchup, a 40-29 victory against Northwestern on the 15th.
