For the first time this season, Fairley will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They are taking a road trip to take on the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles on Monday. Fairley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Fairley was able to grind out a solid win over Sheffield, taking the game 9-6. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won seven in a row.

Antonio Rudd was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-2. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Edward Hunt also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Freedom Prep Academy lost 16-5 to Fayette Ware on Wednesday.

Fairley's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Freedom Prep Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
