Volleyball Recap: Cicero Prep Academy Comes Up Short

Cicero Prep Academy and Gilbert Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Cicero Prep Academy had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Knights. The Centurions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cicero Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Gilbert Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-10 record this season.

Cicero Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gilbert Christian, they will square off against Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their 12th straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight.
