Baseball Preview: Lebanon Cedars vs. Palmyra Cougars
The Lebanon Cedars will take on the Palmyra Cougars at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Lebanon needed a bit of extra time to put away J.P. McCaskey. They blew past the Red Tornado 16-9. Considering the Cedars' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Palmyra ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They skirted past Elizabethtown 5-4. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

At the plate, Palmyra saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Dorta, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance gave Dorta a new career-high in stolen bases.
