Volleyball Recap: North Central's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

North Central and Landrum squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Central had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Cardinals. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

While North Central ultimately came up short, they really made Landrum work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 28-26, 25-23.

The defeat snapped North Central's winning streak at four matches and leaves them with a 25-6-1 record. As for Landrum, they pushed their record up to 25-8-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road.
