Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Democrats vs. Manual Arts Toilers

Jefferson hasn't had much luck against Manual Arts recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Democrats are taking a road trip to square off against the Toilers at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Monday, Jefferson ended up a good deal behind Orthopaedic and lost 64-48.

Meanwhile, Manual Arts had to suffer through a 63-26 loss at the hands of Northridge Academy.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Manual Arts, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Jefferson came up short against Manual Arts in their previous matchup back in February, falling 54-48. Thankfully for the Democrats, Devin Moody (who dropped a double-double with 31 points and 17 boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
