Lanier and Burbank are an even 4-4-2 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long. The Voks will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Lanier is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Highlands just ended the team's four-match winning streak on Tuesday. Neither they nor the Owls could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept Lanier happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 9th.

Their goal came courtesy of Natanael Carmona, who's now up to four this season.

Burbank fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Fox Tech on Tuesday.

Lanier's draw gives them a new season record of 9-3-1. As for Burbank, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 4-8.
