Softball Recap: Bridgeport Comes Up Short

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 30-19 to the Oroville Hornets. The Mustangs & Fillies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2025.

Bridgeport's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oroville, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bridgeport will host Tonasket at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oroville, they will be playing at home against Manson at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
