Emerson Vo-Tech suffers seventh straight loss on the road

Recap: Emerson Vo-Tech Eagles vs. Newfane Panthers

The Emerson Vo-Tech Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Newfane on the road and fell 57-22. Emerson Vo-Tech has not had much luck with Newfane recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Newfane was led to victory by Ben Dickinson and Brayden Seitz. Dickinson scored ten points along with nine rebounds and three blocks, while Seitz scored 11 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Landon Braman, who scored eight points.

Emerson Vo-Tech's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-1. As for Newfane, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Emerson Vo-Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Buffalo Academy of Science at 6:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. As for Newfane, they will head out on the road to face off against Albion at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
