Volleyball Recap: Sunset Comes Up Short

Sunset lost against Timber Creek back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Sunset took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Timber Creek. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their offense was headlined by Uziel Chaparro and Lazaro Labrador, who picked up three kills apiece. Chaparro really made an impact as he also led the team in assists with five.

Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Timber Creek, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Sunset has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Palmetto on the 14th. As for Timber Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Seminole Ridge on the 14th.
