Volleyball Recap: Sturgis West Comes Up Short

If Sturgis West was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Rising Tide on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Navigators came up short against the Nauset Regional Warriors on Friday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 5th.

While Sturgis West was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-20.

Sturgis West's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Nauset Regional, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Sturgis West will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Sturgis East at 7:00 p.m. As for Nauset Regional, they will head out to face off against Cape Cod RVT at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
