Baseball Game Preview: Trinity Hillers vs. Upper St. Clair Panthers

The Trinity Hillers will venture away from home to challenge the Upper St. Clair Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Trinity took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 13-8 victory over Bethel Park. The high-scoring effort was just what the Hillers needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

Garrett Stoy looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Trinity got a massive performance out of Landon Conn, who went 2-for-3 with four runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Another player making a difference was Jase Hartley, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Trinity always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .550. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.

Meanwhile, Upper St. Clair had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Ambridge by a score of 7-3 on Thursday.

The win was their first at home, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Upper St. Clair, their record now sits at 2-3.

Trinity came up short against Upper St. Clair when the teams last played back in April of 2025, falling 6-2. Can the Hillers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
