Soccer Recap: Sapulpa's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Sapulpa's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They never let the Grant Generals get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for Sapulpa as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Sapulpa's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 5-6. As for Grant, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Sapulpa will welcome Ponca City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grant, they will challenge Jenks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jenks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Grant surely won't give up without a fight.
