Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Portland). They blew past the Portland Bulldogs 12-2 on Tuesday. The Red Riots have beaten the Bulldogs the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Hudson Iacuessa made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave him a new career-high.

In other pitching news, Ben Morin looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
