Wellsville is 10-0 against Osawatomie since December of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wellsville Eagles will take on the Osawatomie Trojans in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, Wellsville beat Paola 59-47.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Osawatomie beat Pleasanton 53-48 on Friday.

Wellsville better keep an eye on Jasper Sallee. He was instrumental in Osawatomie's win, shooting 4-for-7 from deep and almost dropping a double-double on 30 points and nine boards. Those 30 points gave Sallee a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Walker Beets, who posted nine points.

Osawatomie was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Wellsville's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28 points. As for Osawatomie, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Wellsville against Osawatomie when the teams last played back in February, as the team secured an 86-47 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wellsville since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
