Despite the defeat, North Sanpete had strong showings from Teya Bailey, who had 35 digs, and Elsie Bailey, who had two aces and 46 assists. Teya has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylee Cook, who had 11 digs.
North Sanpete's loss dropped their record down to 25-6. As for Richfield, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-13.
North Sanpete wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Morgan on the 2nd. Richfield has also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Canyon View on the 2nd.
