Skyline waltzed into their contest on Saturday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers 73-52. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Buckhannon-Upshur lost, don't look at Jerin Westfall. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. Those 24 points gave Westfall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Frye, who posted seven points.

Skyline's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. As for Buckhannon-Upshur, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline will face off against Sherando at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
