Volleyball Recap: Olympia Find Success

The Olympia Titans earned a 3-1 victory over the Crooms Academy Panthers on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Olympia had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-10, 25-13, 25-20.

Leonardo Nabut paced Olympia's offense, picking up 13 kills. Nabut got some help from Will Edwards and his 22 assists. Finally, Jamereous Ryan kept Olympia's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

The win got Olympia back to even at 4-4. As for Crooms Academy, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.

Olympia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against West Orange on the 31st. As for Crooms Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Lyman on the 1st.
