Recap: Marco Island Academy Rays vs. Bayshore Bruins
The Marco Island Academy Rays fell victim to the Bayshore Bruins''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Bruins at home and fell 62-0. Marco Island Academy just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
Bayshore's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Judge, who rushed for 64 yards and three touchdowns. Another player making a difference was LaDavion Johnson, who rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
Marco Island Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Bayshore, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4.
Marco Island Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bayshore will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Lakewood Ranch at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
