Sherman Oaks CES had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Van Nuys Wolves 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Sherman Oaks CES was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 25-11.

Sherman Oaks CES found their leader in freshman Mia Tokutake, who had nine kills, four digs, and three aces.

Sherman Oaks CES' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Van Nuys, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sherman Oaks CES will challenge Kennedy at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Van Nuys, they will face off against East Valley at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
